Dewey's Pizza was born in 1993 when founder David "Dewey" Hollowell took a leap of faith, turning his lifelong love of artisan baking into a neighborhood institution right here in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
Starting with a hand-built brick oven, locally sourced ingredients, and a handful of loyal regulars, Dewey crafted a place where pizza wasn't just food — it was an experience. Word spread quickly, and what started as a small family operation grew into the community cornerstone it is today.
Three decades later, that same spirit of craftsmanship, hospitality, and genuine care for every guest still drives everything we do — from the first roll of the dough each morning to the last pizza out of the oven at night.
